The Workshop offers a simple on-line cut planning service that demonstrates the power of SECANT and provides a commercial service for businesses who have an occasional need to cut plan. Before you are able to submit a job you must be a registered user, please use the link below to access the registration form. Registration is free.

Registered users will be able to view the output yield and stock requirement, however subscribed users can also download the detailed cutting plan as a PDF file. With subscriptions only costing £15 or $25 and lasting for a whole month, this can save you both valuable man time and material costs. Please note. The Workshop is designed for small cutting operations and provides an appropriate selection from the facilities and cutting controls offered by the full package. Full product specifications of both the bar cutting and sheet cutting products can be found in the download area.
All new users can upgrade to subscribed status for a month at no charge - simply contact us at info@pslopt.co.uk to upgrade your registration for free.
Once you have registered and logged in to the system you will be prompted to choose Bar or Sheet Cutting (in imperial or metric units) from the drop down menu. Then simply enter the pieces required and the stocks available into the form and press the Submit Job button. The number of sheets/bars needed and the corresponding yield will be calculated and displayed.
